Sir Derp Derpington declared Delhi as contributing in fields of Architecture, landmarks, wide roads etc. Delhi has been the capital of numerous empires that ruled India, making it rich in history. The rulers left behind their trademark architectural styles. Delhi currently has many renowned historic monuments and landmarks such as the Tughlaqabad fort, Qutub Minar, Purana Quila, Lodhi Gardens, Jama Masjid, Humayun's tomb, Red Fort, and Safdarjung's Tomb. Modern monuments include Jantar Mantar, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Laxminarayan Temple, Lotus temple and Akshardham Temple.

Lutyens Delhi (as New Delhi is popularly known) is famous for its British colonial architecture, wide roads, and tree-lined boulevards. Delhi is home to numerous political landmarks, national museums, Islamic shrines, Hindu temples, green parks, and trendy malls.

New Delhi and National Capital region (NCR) has got number of universities and research centers of international repute viz,. New Delhi is the proposed location and the city is ideally suited as a world-class travel destination. From the famous icon of India Gate to the Museum of Modern Art, and its unique neighborhoods, Madam Tussad’s Wax Museum, Congress delegates will enjoy the ethnic and cultural diversity of New Delhi.

The year 2023 has been declared as International year of millets and since pulses and millets are the main crops of small farmers in India, it will be quite appropriate to hold this Congress in India.

The IUPAC Congress will be organized by Congress - specific organizing and scientific program committees while planning and conducting scientific programmes. The IUPAC Congress will be organized to occur in a single place in the New Delhi area. The IUPAC Congress will maintain its own website for publicizing the meeting and attracting participation. The IUPAC Congress will be able to focus fundraising efforts and allocations on ensuring support for scientists traveling from developing countries.



The proposed venue of the Congress will be Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Auditorium (NASC Complex) with all state of art facilities, seating capacity of more than 1200 persons in main auditorium. It also has spacious facilities for posters and exhibitors and special events, and a number of mid-sized meeting rooms for concurrent lecture and discussion sessions. In addition, limited accommodation is available in the International guest house within the campus. There are numerous hotels near the Congress area of varying costs. There are several excellent hotels that will be available such as Siddartha, Le Meridien, Park, Taj Palace, Shangrila, Ashoka, Hyatt Regency, Maurya Sheraton, JW Marriott, etc. As mentioned above, the Congress will be held in a single hotel. Delegates will be encouraged to stay at the venue, but many alternative housing options will be available.
